Hey family!

How's life? I love you guys!

Okay where to start... this week has been awesome! God has blessed us a ton, we've witnessed many miracles, and had a lot of fun!

On Monday we said goodbye to Sister Koyle- after serving her 18 months it was time for her to return home! But no worries, we made sure she went out in style haha!

We welcomed Sister Villiagas into our district, and got back to work! Haha I love working!

We had Zone Conference this week, and the MSTL's did a training where we had to hold our arms out to our sides while we watched a video of Christ being crucified. It was super impactful, because your arms are really sore but you can't even imagine putting them down while Christ is literally being put on the cross. It really made me ponder my love for the Savior, and the reason that I am here on a mission! To share the love I feel with everyone!

Lots of miracles have been happening, and I'm learning how to rely on the spirit. Like for example, the other day we were biking and I decided to take a different route. As we were biking I just thought to myself "why? Why are we going this way, even though I know it's a longer route?" Well, turns out because we took the longer route we were able to meet this really cool guy and teach him about the Restoration!

I've really gained a testimony of God in our lives! He's in the details! He knows us, and loves us, and puts people in our paths!

Well, I gotta go, but I love you! Bye!

Hello Family!

This is Sister Hansen, reporting to you live from the Green Valley Stake Center in Henderson. Life is good here in the desert, with temperatures averaging a cool 105 degrees. 🏜☠️

Haha how's it going everybody? I love you all! I'm sorry that my emails have been so short, I've just been busy working hard and loving where I am. But I really do appreciate all the letters, emails, and messages I get from you each week- it really helps to remind me of the reason why I am out here, and that I always have people at home cheering me on! So thank you!

This week has been pretty great. Sister Cheyne and I still ride our bikes a lot, we've really come to love biking and we've gotten really fast! It's awesome!

We laugh a lot, and we make even the most miserable moments fun! The work is still slow in this area, and our District has even tried to help us. Doors just don't seem to ever open. The Elders came and blitzed a apartment complex in our area, knocked on thirty doors and they only spoke to 2 people. I really relate to the "Hello" missionary parody. But it's okay, we continue to work as hard as we can.

Our District is pretty awesome. We help each other out a ton, and we always cheer each other on! In fact, we are losing Sister Koyle tomorrow. She is going home after serving her awesome 18 months. We took her "death" photo the other day (When a missionary goes home they "die") and we kidnapped her today for her last P-day. It's been a lot of fun. So if I don't respond today it's because we're making her last moments memorable.

Okay. Gotta run. Love y'all

She didn't talk about it in her letter but her car was vandalized. See photo. I love her pose and facial expression. Gotta love this girl!!

Hey Friends!

How has everyone's week been? I hope it's been good, I can't believe that it'll be fall soon, where did Summer go?

Life here in Green Valley has really been awesome, I love South Point and Legacy wards like they are family, and Sister Cheyne is incredible. She's basically an Australian version of Kimmy Michaelis, (SHOUT OUT!) so you can imagine that we spend a lot of time laughing. It feels really good 😂😂😊 Haha and we continue to work incredibly hard, and we are extremely excited to see what happens!

We are on bikes, which is interesting! No, we didn't get our car taken away, we just got our miles cut, so we basically just use it for P-Days and meetings. I really enjoy biking, but wearing the skirt is the hard part haha. Sister Cheyne's bike had a flat and so we took it to 3 Deacons in our Ward, and it took them about 2 solid hours to figure out how to fix it, but they were really proud of themselves in the end!

And we still don't have any solid investigators, but we have found a ton of people. I'm excited to see what this next week brings!

Well, I've got to go, but I love you guys and I'm grateful for all the support you've given me. Stay sweet!

Love,

Sister Hansen

Hey Everyone!

I love you all so much, thank you all for your love and prayers! They have helped me through some of the most difficult times of my life!

I know that my letters have been short and uneventful, the past two weeks have been extremely difficult. But the clouds seem to have gone away, and the sun is shining! My new companion is Sister Cheyne, she's from Brisbane, Australia and she has been out a little over a year. She's hilarious and we have a lot of fun. The Ward is on FIRE and they're all excited to help us, but we don't have ANY investigators right now.. So we've had to do a lot of finding activities, including me carrying around a box of Book of Mormons pretending to be responding to referrals, and another activity including balloons, I'll tell you more about that next week 😉 So yeah... Prayers that we will find hose who are ready to be baptized! I have to go but I love you all and I'm so grateful for each and every one of you!

Love,

Sister Hansen

Hey pals!

I love you guys! This week has been awful rough but we've had some
pretty golden moments that have made it all worth it!

On Tuesday we got to visit Princess, she's home from the hospital but
little baby "Longi" is still in the NICU. She'll be home soon, and we
are super excited for them! I love Princess so much, she's seriously
so sweet and so strong. She showed us the baby book that she's making,
and she had kept all of the little notes we had written and left in
her door while she was pregnant. It was so cool!

We had another really cool experience this week, when we brought
Brother McNinch with us to see an investigator named Kathy. Turns out
they know all the same people and have loved similar lives! It was so
awesome to see that friendship start to grow, and I'm really excited
for our appointment with her tomorrow, she invited Brother McNinch to
bring his wife so that they could all meet 😏 Member fellowship is

awesome!

On Thursday we received a text from one of our crazy investigators
that said "I tried to save the bird, can you please come help me" and
that night I may or may not have hosted a bird funeral for a dead
crow. We buried it under some rocks and said a few words. Sad part is
that sister Hunt and I went back when it was dark and unburied the
bird and threw it in the dumpster. Don't tell our investigator 😬

Friday I went on exchanges with Sister Wilde and we the first lesson
with this guy named Jerry, and we were able to commit him to be
baptized on the 15th of October! Only problem is that he's going to
Chicago, but I guess that all my Chicago folks can attend his baptism
then, right?

That's it for this week, tell me about your week(s)!

Love,

Sister Hansen

Also a member went to the strip to get me Garrett's popcorn. Aren't
the members here awesome??
